MXR M195 Noise Clamp Pedal

The M195 Noise Clamp is a pedal from MXR that eliminates hiss and excess noise from your effects chain. In addition to the standard input and output jacks, the Noise Clamp includes a built-in effects loop to plug in any pedals that you would typically place in front of your amplifier. The Noise Clamp senses your guitar's dry signal, then reduces the noise level within the loop. A single trigger knob sets the volume threshold which makes the pedal active, and a green LED indicates when the gate is active. The pedal is capable of reducing noise up to 26 dB, thus providing better detail with riff definition at extreme gain levels.

Furthermore, the Noise Clamp includes an internal Loop Bypass Option switch which can be accessed by removing the pedal's back cover. In Loop Bypass mode, the Send/Return effects loop is bypassed when the pedal is off, and in Loop On mode, the Send/Return effects loop is active while the pedal is off. A footswitch toggles the effect on and off, and a red LED above the footswitch illuminates when the effect is on. The M195 Noise Clamp is powered by a single 9V battery or a 9 VDC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003E, or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
