Pure Valve Power
The Origin 50 Head boasts a trio of ECC83(12AX7) preamp valves, which enable you to crank up a massive amount of overdriven energy. The pair of EL34 tubes in the power amp deliver a highly impressive output that is perfect for kicking out the jams. You can rest assured that just as you'd expect from a Marshall amp, sweet harmonics are present throughout to guarantee sublime tones.
The top panel control layout bears a classic style three-band EQ (Bass/Middle/Treble), which allows you to sculpt and shape your tone with incredible precision. The Output section features the Presence and Master dials, which allow you to ramp up the power amp out whilst retaining an articulate high frequency presence for sparkling clarity.
Across the rear panel you’ll find an Effects Loop for integrating outboard effects or processors. There is also a footswitch jack, which allows you to control the gain boost function for extra Marshall bite, or to turn the effects loop on and off. There are also three loudspeaker connections available that include a 16 Ohm jack, and a pair of 8 Ohm jacks.
The DI-Output features loudspeaker emulation, so that you can capture studio-quality recordings directly from the amp. You can also use the DI to connect direct to a PA or Studio mixing desk.

The Origin 50 may be a single channel unit, but the built-in Tilt control allows you to take your tone from a subtle 'normal' Marshall tone to a searing bright-sounding 'high treble' beast. In the full anti-clockwise position, you are treated to a smooth and buttery tone, whereas the fully clockwise position leaps out with a ferocious bite. Roll the dial to the clockwise position, and you'll get the best of both worlds, served with aplomb.
The Output Level switch adjusts the output power level between high, mid, and low. At high the output is at the maximum level, mid sets the amplifier at a lower output for quieter performance that is better suited to suited, whilst the low setting is perfect for bedroom practise.
