The Marshall ORI20H Origin 20 Guitar Amplifier Head is designed with expression at the core, bringing together raw Marshall energy with modern features for intuitive control that lets your creativity run wild.
The Origin 20 Head is equipped with a trio of ECC83 preamp valves and a pair of EL34 tubes in the power amp, which allows you to beef up your tone with incredible energy. The result is a sumptuous harmonic richness combined with sparkling clarity.
Across the top panel you'll find a classic display layout, with three-band EQ (Bass/Middle/Treble) that allows you to shape and scoop your tone to suit whatever style of music you're playing. The Presence pot adjusts the response of the power amp, which allows you to increase the higher frequencies for greater "presence".
Across the rear panel you’ll find an Effects Loop for integrating outboard effects or processors. There is also a footswitch jack, which allows you to control the gain boost function for extra Marshall bite, or to turn the effects loop on and off. There are also three loudspeaker connections available that include a 16 Ohm jack, and a pair of 8 Ohm jacks.
The DI-Output allows the amp to be connected to an external audio recording device or sound desk. The added loudspeaker emulation ensures that you can capture studio-quality tones with ease, wherever you are and whenever the moment grabs you.

The Origin 20 may be a single channel unit, but the built-in Tilt control allows you to take your tone from a subtle 'normal' Marshall tone to a searing bright-sounding 'high treble' beast. In the full anti-clockwise position, you are treated to a smooth and buttery tone, whereas the fully clockwise position leaps out with a ferocious bite. Roll the dial to the clockwise position, and you'll get the best of both worlds, served with aplomb.
The Output Level switch adjusts the output power level between high, mid, and low. At high the output is at the maximum level, mid sets the amplifier at a lower output for quieter performance that is better suited to suited, whilst the low setting is perfect for bedroom practise.
