This stand holds both a tom and a cymbal at the same time, which is very helpful for drummers using a bass drum devoid of tom mounts. The advanced model features an adjustable cymbal arm downtube, vastly increasing your options for cymbal positioning.
The Quick-Set Cymbal Tilter changes the angle of your cymbal with the friction of six smooth metal discs, rather than a toothed gear, so you can set it to precisely the right position. The tom is free to move to any angle thanks to its ball-and-socket joint.
Glide-Tite Grip Joints between the down tubes actually use metal-to-metal contact that is extremely solid and still won't rattle. These joints totally isolate the instrument on the stand, letting it resonate as much as it can.
The double-braced tripod legs function strongly and look great, with a special angle at the bottom to increase strength and provide a little extra room for other stands' legs to cross underneath.
